The Badlands, CA (October 26, 2016) - At just past 3:15 a.m. on Thursday morning, five vehicles collided on the 60 near the Badlands, just east of Gilman Springs Road.
An ambulance arrived at the scene, with reports of at least one person being injured in the accident, but the severity of their injuries was not immediately known.
The collision involved a truck carrying hay, leaving hay strewn across the lanes. Authorities briefly had trouble finding a tow company to remove it from the road.
All lanes remained closed until around 5:30 a.m. and traffic was backed up for over three miles at 6:00 a.m. The 60 was reopened at around 8:45 a.m.
