Riverside, CA (January 24, 2017) - At around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, a 14-year-old boy was struck by a pickup truck outside of Arlington Regional Learning Center.
The student stepped out into the road and was hit by a westbound white pickup truck. He was not in a crosswalk when the collision occurred and it is unclear why he walked out onto the road. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and has cooperated with investigators.
