Riverside, CA (March 6, 2017) - Just after 12:00 p.m. on Monday, a semi-truck was headed northbound on the 215 close to the Van Buren Boulevard exit when it collided with a car.
The car swerved into the media, overturning after hitting the guardrail. The semi-truck went through to the southbound lanes and hit four cars.
The driver of the truck was extricated along with a female passenger. The driver sustained major injuries while the passenger had moderate injuries. One of the southbound drivers sustained minor injuries.
The southbound lanes of the 215 were closed between Harley Knox Boulevard and Van Buren Boulevard until the evening.
