Poway, CA (June 13, 2017) - One woman is dead and two other people injured after a passenger car rear-ended a Sparkletts truck.

Investigators believe the driver, who was killed, might have fallen asleep while driving before veering off into the shoulder and rear-ending the broken truck. 

The passsenger of the car, who is the owner of the 2010 Ford Focus involved, was evacuated via air ambulance to the hospital, in critical condition. The driver of the SParkletts truck was taken to a local hospital but is expected to survive. 

The car accident is still being investigated.
