Desert Hot Springs, CA (April 4, 2017) - At around 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, a 75-year-old man was hit by a car while walking near Ironwood Drive and Palm Drive.
The man, Ronald Blumkin, who was not in a crosswalk, was hit by a Hyundai Elantra that was heading south. Blumkin was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The Elantra’s windshield was damaged and the driver cooperated with police.
