Banning, CA (March 7, 2017) - A man was hit by a car and killed on Tuesday just after 5:30 p.m.
The man was riding a motorized scooter on Ramsey Street, near Omar Street, when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver stopped after the accident and officers and medics who were called to the scene attempted to resuscitate the victim. However, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
