Los Angeles, CA (December 11, 2017) – Around 11:45 pm on Monday an LAPD officer who had just pulled over another motorist for speeding was seriously hurt outside of his vehicle when he was struck by a drunk driver.
The driver was later caught and arrested, and while the officer's injuries were serious he is expected to survive.
Later that night, another accident occurred on the opposite side of the freeway, closing down the South side of the 405 until around 6 am.
