Glendora, CA (June 10, 2017) - At around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, three vehicles collided on the eastbound 210 Freeway near Sunflower Avenue.

The driver of a 2017 Honda Accord had applied her brakes as traffic slowed ahead, causing a 2005 Honda Civic to hit her from behind. A 2009 Ford F250 then crashed into the Civic.

Both passengers of the Civic, Edgar Ramirez of Riverside and Luisa Gonzalez of Lawndale, were killed in the accident.  

The driver of the Honda Civic, a 23-year-old Riverside man, received treatment for minor injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
